Books to Go Program

To make it easier for our patrons to get the books they want without a trip to the stacks, the Youth Services Department offers the Books to Go program. These bags of pre-selected books are perfect for parents who want to grab a few books to take home to their sick children, parents whose young children are too impatient or tired to look for books, or grandparents who could use some help picking out what to read to their visiting grandchildren.

Our Books to Go bags are filled with six (6) books and two (2) activity sheets on specific subjects of interest to young children. Some of the subjects covered are pets, sleepy stories, grandmas and grandpas, princesses and pirates.

Patrons can call ahead to reserve a bag or pick out the bag they would like in the Youth Services Department.
