Head of Youth Services

The Youth Services Department is located on the second floor of the library. It serves children from birth through high school, their parents, families, teachers and other community members. We have a variety of items in our collection to meet the educational and entertainment needs of our patrons including books, videos, audio books, video games, music CDs and much more.

The Youth Department is staffed by dedicated, friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable librarians who love helping kids and teens find the right book to read. They can give recommendations on titles about a variety of topics and from many genres. They are also available to work with local teachers to make sure that their students feel comfortable using the Library. Teachers can provide information about their assignments so that the students can find the help they need when they come to the Library.

The Youth Department strives to provide interesting, informative and age appropriate activities and programs for patrons, including story times, book clubs, after school activities, and performers. Check out the calendar of events and register for an activity.
