For March, the 1st Grade Girl Scout Troop 60450 from Chippewa School will decorate a bulletin board in Youth Services to observe the 98th anniversary of Girl Scouting.

 
Youth Services Programs

Palos Heights residents are given preference for all programs. Registration for Palos Heights residents will begin on issuance of the newsletter. Non-residents may register one week before date of program, is space is available. Please register for all programs at the Youth Services desk or by calling 448-1473.

TumbleBook Library

TumbleBook Library is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books). TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which we have licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format. [user name: palosheights password: libra]

SPRING STORY TIMES
Our weekly story time programs emphasize language enrichment and listening skills while developing an interest in books and reading in a small group setting. March 9 - April 22. Registration is Open! No classes March 23, 24 & 25.

Tiny Tots
Children under 24 months with an adult.
Tuesdays at 10:00am

Terrific Twos
Children 24 to 35 months with an adult.
Thursdays at 10:00am or 11:00am

Story Time
Children ages 3 to 6 years.
Wednesdays at 10:00am or 1:00pm
Thursdays at 1:00pm

Watch in fascination as Dale creates intricate balloon creatures set to music.

Family Night - Thursday, Aprill 22 at 6:30pm
Parent Program- Learning Styles presented by Ashley Anderson, Director of the Sylvan Learning Center. Learn about the different ways people learn and what that means to you as a parent as you work with your child in first grade through high school. Children are invited to come to the story time room for games, crafts and a bedtime snack while parents attend the program.

Join us at the Teen Center at the Palos Heights Recreation Department. Check out this cool new space and enjoy games and pizza. This is a joint program between the Library and the Recreation Department.
