Children's Book Week Voting

Palos Heights youth participated in the sixth annual Children's Choice Book Awards and helped select several winners: Kindergarten-2nd graders selected Nighttime Ninja by Barbara DaCosta, 3rd-4th graders voted Bad Kitty for President by Nick Bruel as number 1, 5th-6th graders liked Dork Diaries 4: Tales from a Not-So-Graceful Ice Princess and teen voters liked The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. More than one million children and teens cast their votes for the awards, and some of the winning titles will be read at Friday Fun on May 17, at 10 am.
