Medicare Made Easy!

Diane Adduci, a community educator and licensed insurance representative, will present an educational program about Medicare Parts A and B and will also be discussing Medicare Supplement Plans. Come and learn about eligibility, enrollment, and the benefits of Medicare and Medicare Supplements. This program is designed for people turning 65, already 65 or over but leaving their employer plan, or people who would simply like to learn more about Medicare. Questions are welcome! Program Time - 90 minutes.

Flu Clinic

Saturday, October 8th, 11am

Influenza is a respiratory infection that can cause serious complications, particularly to young children, older adults and people with certain medical conditions. Flu shots are the most effective way to prevent influenza and its complications. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone 6 months of age or older be vaccinated annually against influenza.

Pharmacists from Walgreens will give immunizations against the seasonal flu. Please be sure to bring your insurance card.

Painting Party

Sunday, October 9 at 2pm

Create a fall masterpiece at our first ever painting party led by Public Services Librarian Amanda Heinemann who will guide artists of all levels through a finished acrylic painting to be taken home. Please wear a painting smock or an old shirt. All materials will be provided. Seating is limited to the first 20 sign ups, registration is required.
